Kon Darp So much balance and good taste on this album. Mellow but technical, the kind of album you can take home to meet your parents.

Hunter DiCicco I saw you guys one day at a venue in State College, PA. I'll never forget the moment when you got to the hook in He Will Owe You His Life. I swear, I could've died that day I was so happy. Favorite track: Masochist.

Unfurl 04:36
there was a side of you that I could not hide I tried to look the other way, but I was denied you were too cold for this role you think you’re in control I could have been the one to take you in you were lost too down this road, is your home (I could be the sun) where you learned to walk the talk (I was left undone) snowflakes show you another fold (by grey skies, by impatience) the story will soon unfold (I was left undone) the story will soon unfold (I could have held the gun) the story will soon unfold (but I was left undone) the colours will soon unfurl and you set out, in search of a foreign land and you came, and you conquered now you’re stuck inside unwilling indifferent to what is on the outside you were lost too
2.
Seeds 03:02
we could have gone to another place where the sun shines in many ways this could have been a mistake but you said it to my face all that you’d known were the seeds you’d sown in our skies were birds that could not fly oh, she sold her shells in town the shore was too far and Jill, she tumbled down then flew away all that you’d known were the seeds you’d sown and in our time how could you have been so blind?
3.
a shame the mundane is just so insane we ought to rot with the drought so long to the sea to a face so safe I got caught in my sprinting thoughts in storms so fowl that seagulls drown and I saw you as my way home safe and secure wrongly so and so I had no place to go footsteps to call my own yet somehow I trip and fall do you remember the time we broke the waves? the fort fell down and so did the soldier’s crown in a light so blinding, the seagulls kept at bay the wind became a cage and I sought (cemented, cemented!) you as my way out (cemented, cemented!) but you’re the wall that surrounds (cemented, cemented!) cementing my feet to the ground (cemented, cemented!) and so (cemented, cemented!) I had no place to go (cemented, cemented!) footsteps to call my own (cemented, cemented!) yet somehow I trip and fall (cemented!)
4.
Like Kites 05:50
there was a subtle misfire words hawkish like kites in a space so dire he flew in to bite and he’s not letting you go you’re chained to the ground so is your hope the pictures were drawn in pen sculpted with sin over the years you’ve grown unsettled and insecure he went too far his love grew thorns don’t let this go on too long you are strong you could fly away this is no mistake but he went too far he now hurts you, he takes too long don’t let this go on too long you are strong in this puzzle you have become a piece so unknown a piece so conquered in this puzzle you have become a piece so conquered will you defer?

Lucy 04:14
did I sought this out? engender this mess? you’ll remain silent i’ll suffocate on my perceived innocence you’ll live on false ground with your army of pacifists but you fail to see that there’s more to this that there’s me we’re not winning get in line, lucy because I might kill someone this week if they tried to hide the sun from me in my plight get in line, lucy because I might just see me i’m not in a blind spot you can back out but I’ll still yell it out that I wish you’d stick around because I might kill someone this week if they tried to hide the sun from you in your fright get in line, lucy because I might and I won’t be your song I won’t come along I won’t be your song I won’t come along but I might yeah, I might

he will owe you his life one, then another tragedy I can't believe this happened all to me I drove my car, away I go off to pay one then another toll oh, give him a way give him his say he lost his gaze and he will owe you his life up to the top I went just to fly down again I stopped my car and ran he did the same and then I was on the ground but could get up because of him oh, another day he lost his way give him a say and he will owe you his life all his faults were in diguise he was torn up about his own demise

Dull Brights 04:35
be silent now, be silent now you have said enough be silent now, be silent now you have said enough i’ve lost all of my hope to the ones I was told to trust the most and oh we, we saw the kettle rising this water, it burns be silent now, be silent now you have said enough be silent now, be silent now you have said enough you dream of suits, not of coups one day you’ll loot the people of their dreams your hate will lose your hate will lose your hate will lose and I shall not be bruised so, I so, I was denied my sight denied my rights futures dull brights so, I so, I will fight, will fight
8.
the story is yours, pick up the pencil, write what you want, time might just stand still you could paint us now with smiles not sins, trees fall down like leaves and question our dreams we could lose this i’ll face you, i’ll give you the truth, i’ll let you conclude what you want to you inhale what they exhale, you might lose sight, they want some more, and they’re never sore, we might lose score we could lose this i’ll face you, i’ll give you the truth, i’ll let you conclude what you want to all that you’ve known will come undone, when the truth rides by your side all that I want, is to see truth break through tough walls and watch them fall and I’ll face you, i’ll give you the truth, i’ll let you conclude what you want to come forth, softly

Masochist 03:00
roughed up by fins low life has-beens claws deep in your own skin he’s gratified by his wins time goes, time goes (satan is a masochist, he doesn’t know what he wants) you know, you know (satan is a masochist, he doesn’t know what he wants) if you don’t kneel to (satan is a masochist, he doesn’t know anyone) his needs, he’ll be your worst nightmare (he doesn’t know) on a whim, on a whim (satan is a masochist, he doesn’t know anyone) we notice his motives (satan is a masochist, he doesn’t know what he wants) given the chance to (satan is a masochist, he doesn’t know what he wants) he’d sell your breath if it bought him despair satan is he you’re coming around the cries get loud the blinkers are down and the horse is on the run time goes, time goes (satan is a masochist, he doesn’t know what he wants) and his record will always hold (satan is a masochist, he doesn’t know what he wants) the sides are not turning (satan is a masochist, he doesn’t know what he wants) the waves are not crashing (he's so alone) on a whim, on a whim (satan is a masochist, he doesn’t know what he wants) you started to give in (satan is a masochist, he doesn’t know what he wants) the winner is he who (satan is a masochist, he doesn’t know what he wants) will give more than he gets in return (he's so alone!)

Complacence 03:04
there’s a part of me that wants to give in to the hollowness, the aimlessness to when I’m harrowed, within tearing down the walls where memories hang no more the doors they whisper close the house a home no more but we could be complacent lay down on the tracks because fate’s written, right? well, I guess, i’ll give in I guess, i’ll give in i’ll just give in I guess, i’ll give in yeah, i’ll give in now

False Ground 03:25
back down, i’ve got this back down, i've got this won't you back down? i've got this won't you back down? i’m jaded i’m faded
