I might fall into the sun this time Been warding off the ghosts trapped up inside I lost out (phir se) I burned out (phir se) I thought you might have cut the tree I fell off of Well all you’ve got was never enough Let go of that door Someday they might see that you’ve got something to hide We’re the ones that wrote this fable Timing can be fatal But I lost out this time I’m burned out this time I lost out this time I’m burned out this time We said goodbyes Hesitant and lost We’ll be fine We’re just a little lost I’m wakin’ up Awaken, waken, I’m waking up

In Time 03:52
Rip tides Float in like first rays Sunlight Burning through our veins I’m not Caught up in your ways I’m Colliding sideways I’m sick and Caught up in your Webs I’m imploding inside I’m finding out I’m not alone Got caught up in Your raging forest fires You’ve gotten into a rut Won’t acquiesce and let you take what’s mine It’s not a feeling in my gut My hands aren’t glued to my sides Intertwined in my own lies I’m stepping out this labyrinth To call you out On what you’d done So caught up in Your raging forest fires Your handles on my mind Fuck you and your fight This is not what you thought This is not your time

Foster 05:23
They almost had it But it slipped right through their Fingers bleeding Fires dying Run Through the sun Open We’ll run Through the sun Open They almost had it But it slipped right through their Fingers bleeding Fires dying Screaming at it They caused a racket The first light blinded They were caught blindsided If you try to come back I’ll cut off your arms I cut you short On your solemn tirade I’ll pay no mind to your whims I’ll take my thoughts over your dying words Yeah, I’m the one to walk out of this scene I’m the one to walk out of the ring I’m bringing to light The colours of the blind The foster son’s pride I’m not going home We’ll run Through the sun Unbroken They almost had it But it slipped right through their Fingers bleeding Fires dying Screaming at it They caused a racket The first light blinded They were caught blindsided

The Damsel 01:57
Breathe again You might slip again Don’t leave the stones unturned Flow with the wind Dance instead Break down the glass walls Feed your famished soul You might Back into The Damsel’s cry Pay some mind to the devil outside Where you both lie In familiar fights Pay some mind To the devil inside Her eyes Her mind

My paper mask is wearing thin A face I had known as sin Deliberate in my contention The fable is now fading out I’ll caress away all my doubts I’m deliberate in my sound Fists undone Your words aren’t so loud No more I was caught on your side The winds rushed my tide Won’t burn out this time I’m back on my side I’ll storm out Slow down, storm Your Styrofoam throne died out Velcroed to passing clouds Deliberate in your doubt Sharpen your gaze I’m not invisible to you Or invincible to me Weighed my options I will take the road less travelled Slipped out of your grip outright I’m taking you out Back on my side Was caught in your tide Won’t burn out this time Cuz I’m back on my side STORM Don’t I know That you’ll follow You’ll follow me back Your downfall is in my rear window

about

Velcroed To Passing Clouds is about the cycle of succumbing to your oppressors, overcoming them, falling prey again, but eventually coming out on top. It's a story about finding the hope, courage, and will needed to defeat whatever or whoever is holding you down.
